UB40 at M&S Bank Arena – 2nd November 2024

UB40 at M&S Bank Arena – 2nd November 2024

The world’s most successful reggae group will be in Liverpool for one night only this year.

On the 2nd November at M&S Bank Arena, UB40 will be playing all their greatest hits as part of a special UK arena tour. They also promise a selection of new material from their latest album, UB45.

It must have been difficult to choose the set list, because they have already had 10 UK top 10 albums, 50 UK top 40 singles, and have sold more than 100 million records worldwide.

This UK tour concludes their 45 year anniversary celebrations which began in 2023, playing to jam-packed venues across Europe and America where the reception has been nothing short of incredible.

One of the band’s founders, Robin Campbell, said:

After the release of our forthcoming album UB45 and more than twelve months of touring to mark our 45th year as a band, next year’s UK arena tour will be the perfect homecoming and culmination of our celebrations.

I would expect to hear all the old classics like Kingston Town, Red Red Wine, (I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You, and Food For Thought, but that’s not all.

Joining UB40 are another chart-topping band from back in the day: Soul II Soul.

You will know them for their hits such as Back to Life (However Do You Want Me), Keep On Movin and Missing You. Their fusion of reggae, disco, house and of course soul made Soul II Soul a regular feature on nights out for fans of dance music.

They enjoyed two UK number 1 albums, 2 Grammy Awards, and more than 10 million record sales worldwide. As support acts go, they don’t get much better than this.

Tickets and Info

Soul II Soul LogoAs you might expect, a night of this magnitude will not come cheap.

That said, you can get in to the most affordable seats for around £50 once ticket fees have been factored in.

The various tickets can be bought for:

  • £46.30
  • £56.43
  • £63.13
  • £77.50

There were VIP tickets available too, but they are already sold out. That means regular tickets, whether sitting or standing, won’t be available for long either, so if you want to go you should get them booked sooner rather than later.

There is an over 14s policy on standing tickets, but children younger than that can come to the concert so long as they have a seat booked and attend with an adult.
