This one is for the petrol heads among you.

Car lovers will be flocking to the M&S Bank Arena on the 6th of July to experience one of the UK’s biggest indoor automotive shows, known as The Ultimate Show.

Some of Europe’s best and most eye catching cars will be on display here, with everything from performance cars, retro cars, and custom builds filling the huge indoor arena.

There’s a strict no touch policy, so you won’t be able to sit in any of them, but this is your best chance to get close to the types of cars you would be lucky ever to see again, and chat to their owners.

There is plenty more on offer too, from BMX stunt shows, competitions and giveaways, an award show, plus a live DJ and host keeping the atmosphere pumping throughout the day. There will be plenty of traders on site too, selling detailing gear, car parts, memorabilia, and more.

Oh, and if you are one of the lucky people who own a car worthy of being displayed at The Ultimate Show, you can apply to do so as part of their Show and Shine. Just be aware that you won’t be able to leave until the event organisers tell you to!

Tickets and Prices

The show takes place in the Exhibition Centre, with doors opening at 9.30 am, the show officially beginning at 10am, and closing at 4pm. Last entry is 2pm.

It’s a family event, so you can take the kids, and ticket prices are as follows:

Standard entry for 1 adult: £24.20
Standard entry for 1 child (5-13): £16.50
Standard entry for 1 child under 5: FREE
Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children): £15.40 per person
Group entry for 4 adults: £19.80 per person
Group entry for 10 adults: £13.20 per person

It’s a little convoluted as you can see, but essentially the more people you round up to go the cheaper it will be per person. All prices include fees too.

The benefit of booking in advance is you can jump the queue of people buying tickets on the door, and it is slightly cheaper too.

There is also a pre-show party the night before the event, on the 5th of July from 7pm until midnight. This is only £7.95 per ticket but is limited to 300 guests. It’s in the Beatbox private room at Boxpark, there’s a free drink on entry, there’s food, a DJ and a private bar.
