The Dubliners Encore: Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, 14th of March 2026
Are The Dubliners the greatest folk band of all time? Probably.
For 50 years, the well loved Irish group created some of the best songs the genre has ever seen, and even though there are very few members of the band still with us today (and no founder members), their music lives on.
The show is performed by some highly talented, and importantly, bearded, musicians, and while no members of the real band are around to take part, the show is produced by one of them. The renowned fiddle player and legendary Irish icon, John Sheahan, is behind the production, ensuring it lives up to the reputation he and his bandmates created all those years ago. He is often referred to as ‘the last Dubliner’, and he has handpicked the boys for the show.
The lads will be singing all of The Dubliners most famous hits, including:
- The Wild Rover
- Seven Drunken Nights
- The Black Velvet Band
- Whiskey in the Jar
- The Irish Rover
So get your tickets a re-discover the original bad boys of Irish music, and take part in the ultimate Irish singalong, complete with some hilarious stories and plenty of craic.
