The Docks Liverpool Tattoo and Arts Expo – Exhibition Centre: 17th and 18th May

Back for the second year running, The Docks Liverpool Tattoo and Arts Expo is taking place on the 17th and 18th of May at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
If you missed it last year, this years expo will be bigger and better, touted as the best tattoo convention ever seen in the North West.
This is an event created by artists, for artists, so every trader, exhibitor, artist and entertainer involved has been hand picked by the team to provide the best quality experience for the people attending. This is not a case of ‘anyone who pays for a stall gets in’ – they don’t.
It has been designed as a family day out, with art and ink at its heart. You can watch tattoo artists (and other artists) at work live, and even get a tattoo yourself on the day if you fancy one (permanent or temporary). There is also live music and other entertainment such as fire performances throughout the day, places to buy great food and drink, plus traders selling art work, jewellery, and tattoo stuff, last year there were awards and competitions, too. You get the idea.
Put simply, for tattoo enthusiasts it is a must attend event.
Tickets and Prices
The event takes place over a weekend, so you can buy tickets for one day or both days.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Saturday Only: £20
- Sunday Only: £20
- Whole Weekend: £30
- 12-16 Years: £10 (covers whole weekend)
- Under 12: FREE
The Saturday runs from 10am until 7pm, but the Sunday ends earlier at 4pm.
There will be a schedule for the shows and entertainment, but the convention is a free flow event where you can come and go when you please, watch some of the acts, wander around and see the artists at work, grab a drink, buy some jewellery, etc. All very informal.
In terms of getting tattoos done, it’s all done on a first come first served basis on the day. You can’t book with artists in advance.
