Story Time with Santa at Croxteth Hall: November 30th – December 22nd
We have all been to those meet Santa conveyor belts in shopping centres, haven’t we?
This is the opposite of one of those.
Story Time with Santa at Croxteth Hall is an intimate, immersive, and engaging experience where your children will spend a whole hour with Father Christmas and his little helper, Buddy the Elf.
The big man in red will read stories and sing songs to the kids before listening intently to their Christmas wishes, and of course, giving them a special storybook gift as a memento of the day.
You might recognise this event as it has been held at the Floral Pavillion in New Brighton for the last 10 years, with excellent reviews and a fantastic reputation.
The venue has had an upgrade this year, so the experience will be just as spellbinding but the venue even more magical.
What makes this event so brilliant is there are a maximum of 30 children per session, so it’s about the size a school class. This means each child can feel they have got to know Santa a bit, and had some attention from him. They have specific sessions for SEN children too, which is a fantastic option for parents of kids with additional needs.
Tickets and Prices
Although the event is running from November 30th to December 22nd, it will only be taking place on weekends within that time frame. The only exceptions to this are Monday the 23rd and Tuesday the 24th of December.
There are five sessions a day (apart from the 24th when they finish at 1pm):
- 10:00am
- 11:30am
- 1:00pm
- 2:30pm
- 4:00pm
Tickets cost £22 per child, but that includes entry for one adult, with additional adults costing £5.50. So a family of two parents and once child will be paying £27.50 and a family of 2 parents and 2 children will pay £44.
Considering you get a gift and an hours worth of story time with Santa, I’d say that is a pretty good deal.
Parking on site is free all day, and it’s best to use postcode L11 1EH for the entrance via Muirhead Avenue.
Ho ho ho – Merry Christmas!
