Simply Red 40th Anniversary Tour – M&S Bank Arena: October 3rd 2025
One of the UK’s most celebrated bands is turning 40 this year, and to mark the occasion, they are touring the UK.
I am of course talking about Simply Red, who will be coming the Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena for one night only on the 3rd of October. Mick Hucknall and his band will be playing all of their greatest hits such as:
- Holding Back the Years
- Stars
- If You Don’t Know Me By Now
- Fairground
- Sunrise
- Money’s Too Tight (To Mention)
- Something Got Me Started
…and loads more.
With 60 million albums sold worldwide, 1.8 billion streams, and five UK number 1 albums to their name, a night at a Simply Red gig is guaranteed to be memorable. Their 1991 album, Stars, was the best selling album for 2 years running in Britian and Europe, and all 13 of their studio albums have been UK top 10s.
The touring show tells the story of Simply Red from the beginning to now, so it will no doubt be an emotional one for the guys, and they are backed up by Rumer, with her orchestral pop sound harking back to the 70s – just perfect for this one.
Tickets and Prices

It’s true that Hucknall is a Manchester lad, but us Scousers can forgive him for that given that he’s a soul and pop legend. If you want to see him on October 3rd, you will be looking at the following ticket prices:
- £77.70
- £89.20
- £100.70
These prices include all fees.
If you want to splash out there are various VIP level tickets available too, ranging from £146.70 to £225.45 for front row seats (and a few extra goodies), but wherever you sit, the atmosphere in there will be something else.
The gig starts at 19:30, so turn up in good time to get yourself in, have a drink, and get excited before the night begins.
