Restricted Forest Liverpool: Orrell Hill Woods – 27th of June 2026

Restricted Forest is a niche little festival which takes place in the Orrell Hill Woods. It’s been running for about a decade now, so it has a great following, and the 2026 festival is taking place on the 27th of June.

Each year, they transform the private woodland into an area of light, sound, and energy, with more than a touch of magic, to create something extremely unique and immersive.

Across four different stages, some of the biggest and best dance tracks will be belting out into the woodland around you. The stages are all themed:

• Factory Stage
• Castle Stage
• Pyramid Stage
• Secret Garden Stage

It’s got Crystal Maze vibes if you’re old enough to remember that!

The music is mostly House, Trance, and Clubland, with an old school feel and things like art installations keeping the surroundings quirky and interesting. You can expect a lot of impressive light shows and fireworks on the stages too, which really kick up the energy levels.

Tickets come in at around the £50 mark at this stage, but the release is staggered, so they are a bit cheaper the earlier you buy them. There are VIP options as well, and these cost around £90, giving you queue jumping rights and access to the VIP area which has a great view of the stage, seating, and a VIP bar and food section.

It’s a one day festival, with gates opening at 13:00, last entry at 16:00, and the final acts finishing at 23:00. So get there at the start to make the most of it.

Parking is available, but no camping, and it’s 18+. Oh, and remember, it’s in the woods, so don’t wear heels.
