Radio One’s Big Weekend 2025 in Liverpool – May 23rd to 25th

Is this the biggest party of Summer 2025? Probably.
Radio One’s Big Weekend will be taking place at Sefton Park, Liverpool, from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th of May. It is going to be off the charts incredible, with an amazing line up of top artists performing across four different stages:
- Main Stage
- New Music Stage
- Radio 1 Dance Stage
- BBC Introducing Stage
Just some of the famous faces you can see on those stages across the weekend include:
- Natasha Bedingfield
- Tom Grennan
- Sam Fender
- Myles Smith
- Sugababes
- Tate McRae
- Mumford and Sons
- Jorja Smith
That is just a snapshot, trust me, there are SO many more big names booked to appear. You will need to plan who you want to see pretty carefully, and luckily, there is an event app for that very purpose. It will also have an event map and other useful features so definitely worth downloading if you’re going.
There are always loads of food and drink vendors, plenty of toilets, and security is good. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult, and those with babies under 2 needn’t worry as they will be allowed to enter with larger bags than everyone else for all the baby paraphernalia.
Tickets and Prices
All tickets for the Big Weekend are digital, and they are very affordable.
- General Admission: £33 plus booking fee per day
- VIP Admission: £95 plus booking fee per day
VIP ticket holders get their own special entrance, plus entry to the VIP lounge with its own bar, a DJ, gourmet food vendors, and premium toilets. You get a souvenir Radio 1 Big Weekend lanyard upon entry, too.
There are 36,000 tickets available per day but, believe me, it will still be very difficult to get one. Demand will outstrip supply, plus, you can only buy two tickets per person per day, so no bulk purchases are allowed.
If you can’t get there in person, the event will be covered live on the radio, with highlights uploaded to all of their socials as well as live coverage on YouTube and BBC iPlayer.
