Powells Jewellery Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse – 31st August
In typical form, Chester Races are laying on an extravagant Ladies Day this summer.
Taking place on the 31st of August, it will be a day full of racing, fashion, flowers, good food and drink, plus live music from a special guest.
The event promises to create a “floral summer wonderland” with absolutely loads of photo opportunities against beautiful backgrounds. Perfect for your social media feeds if you fancy showing off.
If you are particularly confident in your style choices you can even enter the Best Dressed Competition, going up against all the other fashionistas there on the day.

The weather is usually good to us at the end of August, and there are few places to spend a more enjoyable day out than Chester racecourse in the sun.
Gates open at 11.30am, the first race is at 2.30pm, and the last race is at 5.35pm.

It’s not just the racing that makes this an event worth attending.
Singer, songwriter and all-round popstar, Ella Henderson, will be performing at the event, and anyone who buys a ticket gets access to the gig. Even the cheap seats!
Ella is a multi-platinum awarded 3 time Brit award nominee, so the chance to see her live is not to be missed. She will be taking the stage after the racing has concluded, making this an event that runs morning until evening, offering plenty of value for the ticket price.
I don’t know what’s on her set list, but you can be sure to hear some of her biggest hits such as Crazy What Love Can Do, Ghost, 0800 Heaven, or her newest release, Alibi.
