On The Waterfront Festival 2025: Pier Head, Liverpool – 19th to 22nd June

It’s back for 2025.

On the Waterfront Festival will be taking place once again at Pier Head, Liverpool, from the 19th to the 22nd of June, and there is already an incredible line up of acts signed up to perform.

It’s a 4 day open air festival packed full of music and entertainment, with different bands and artists taking part which creates a unique vibe for each day. The setting is the icing on the cake, right on the iconic waterfront with the Three Graces in the background.

The confirmed artistes so far on each day are as follows, with the headliner at the front:

  • Thursday 19th – The Wombats / Pale Waves / Corella / Overpass / Keyside
  • Friday 20th – The Wolf Tones / The Scratch / The Highstool Prophets / She Doolin
  • Saturday 21st – Cream Classical and the 50-piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra / Todd Terry / Chicane / Danny Rampling / Tall Paul / Seb Fontaine / Rob Harnetty / Sean Hughes
  • Sunday 22nd – Sting / The Christians / Sophie Grey / Traits

Over 45,000 people attended the festival last year, so you can guarantee it is going to be quite an atmosphere this time around – especially with all the positivity in the city at the moment thanks to Liverpool winning the Premier League.

The fact that On the Waterfront Festival takes place across 4 days is brilliant, but it also means you will probably have to choose which day or days you attend due to cost constraints.

It is effectively 4 shows running on concurrent days, so each day requires a separate ticket and has its own start and end times.

Tickets and timings are as follows:

  • Thursday 19th: The Wombats – 5pm to 11pm – £47.60 to £50.40
  • Friday 20th: Wolfe Tones – 4pm to 11pm – £50.40
  • Saturday 21st: Cream Classical Ibiza – 2pm to 11pm – £44.80 to £50.40
  • Sunday 22nd: STING – 5pm to 11pm – £72.80 to £84.00

Given the type of event this is, there are strict restrictions on what you can and can’t bring with you, so do check before you leave. It’s a case of travelling light, pretty much. Small bags only, no glass, no liquids except a small bottle of water, etc.

Although as you would expect there will be plenty of places to buy consumables once you’re there.

The festival is 18+ except for the 19th, which is 16+.
