Ocean Colour Scene: O2 Academy Liverpool – 9th of January 2026

Ocean Colour Scene were a huge part of the Brit Pop era, amassing 3 top 5 albums in the 1990s: Moseley Shoals in 1996, Marchin’ Already in 1997, and 1999’s One From The Modern. Not to mention their seventeen top 40 singles and a shed load of awards.

It may be 30 years later, but the guys are still going, and on the 9th of January 2026 you can see Ocean Colour Scene live at the O2 Academy in Liverpool.

Their live shows are legendary for their singalongs, often described as life affirming and brimming with hope and joy – people come away feeling super positive and lifted. As a result, the lads have one of the most fiercely loyal fanbases there is, and each one of their incredible gigs further cement that relationship.

Some bands just play you their songs, but Ocean Colour Scene shows are made different.

Tickets and Prices

It’s nice and simple to explain the ticket pricing structure, because this is a proper gig rather than a sit down concert. So all tickets are general entry, and they cost £55.87 plus a few pounds extra in ticket fees.

Doors open at 7pm on the night, and the gig will start soon after, with none other than Forgotten Pharaohs in support, a relatively new band made up of, well… not so new musicians. Their sound is a throwback to the West Coast sound of the 1970s plus a bit of 90s grunge thrown in – the perfect compliment to Ocean Colour Scene.

Anyone with kids is welcome to bring them along, the minimum age limit is only 8.
