Miss Saigon is one of the most famous modern musicals of the last century.

The story of Kim and Chris falling in love amidst one of the most violent and destructive wars in living memory captured the hearts and imaginations of audiences worldwide, playing to packed houses in the West End, on Broadway, and on countless world tours.

Well, Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical is on the road again, and this time it is coming to Liverpool.

Between the 21st of April and the 2nd of May, Miss Saigon will be showing at the Liverpool Empire, the last stop on the tour before the show settles in London for a limited run. The cast are superb, the live orchestra is faultless, and together, they will be belting out all of the shows most famous tunes such as:

The Heat is On in Saigon
Sun and Moon
Why God Why
I Still Believe
The American Dream

…and loads more. There is not a dud song in the entire score.

This is not a basic re-staging of an old show either. They are calling it “The Legend Reborn”, because it is a new production designed for modern times and a modern audience. This includes some incredible set design that sees rooms rotating, floating staircases, and of course, there’s the famous helicopter scene.

Tickets and Prices

Shows on this sort of scale don’t come cheap, so if you want to see Miss Saigon it’s going to cost you anything from £23.95 to £130.00 depending on where you want to sit.

Prices are slightly higher on Friday and Saturday evenings since they are classed as peak days, but the price bands for the cheaper shows are as follows:

There is a £3.95 fee on top of these prices, and you can add around £5 more per ticket for the Friday and Saturday performances.

Evening shows start at 7:30pm, matiness start at 2:30pm, and you should be aware of the 14+ age guidance since the story contains violence, drug use, and other adult themes.

The performance lasts for around 2 hours and 40 minutes including an interval.
