Liverpool International Tennis Tournament: Liverpool Cricket Club, 19th to 21st of June

Since the inaugural tournament in 2002, the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament has brought some of the world’s best tennis players to the city: Novak Djokovic, David Ferrer, Marat Safin, Caroline Wozniacki, and Martina Hingis being just a handful of previous attendees.

Well, 2025 will be no different, with the tournament taking place across 3 days at the Liverpool Cricket Club.

It’s the perfect preparation for Wimbledon, with ATP and WTA players able to get some vital practice on grass courts before the world’s most famous tennis competition. It’s actually Europe’s biggest and longest-running tennis exhibition too, so you won’t find an equivalent event that’s better.

There will be plenty going on besides the headline matches, so it serves as a great family fun day out, a chance to do a bit of business networking, or simply a fantastic spectacle for tennis fans.

The tournament was set up by Anders Borg, the founder of Northern Vision, a sports event management and marketing company. Their aim is to promote tennis in the region, support youths interested in the game, and make Liverpool a destination for tennis.

It’s a real feel good community event with lots to offer.

Tickets and Prices

Liverpool International Tennis Tournament Tickets

You can splash out on hospitality tickets if you like, but entry to the tournament doesn’t have to cost the earth. In fact, it’s pretty cheap all things considered.

General admission costs £27.50 while concessions (over 65s and under 18s) cost £22.00 – and that includes fees. Small children go free. You will need a new ticket for each day of the tournament, so attending the whole thing would be costly, but as a day out it’s not bad going at all.

Play starts and ends at approximately the following times each day, but doors will open earlier:

  • Thursday 19th June – 1pm until 6pm
  • Friday 20th June – 1pm until 6pm
  • Saturday 21st June – Midday until 5pm

It’s advisable to book in advance rather than showing up in spec as they only hold a small number of tickets on the door.
