Liverpool Beer Festival 2026: 19th-21st February

Liverpool Beer Festival 2026: 19th-21st February

Lovers of beer and ale take note, tickets for the Liverpool Beer Festival 2026 are now on sale.

This popular event is the only one of its kind run by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) in Liverpool, and for real ale enthusiasts it is not to be missed.

Running from the 19th to the 21st of February, attendees can expect to find over 200 real ales and ciders to sample, a free glass to keep on entry, and a free festival program.

There is food too, but they are yet to confirm what this will be.

One of the coolest things about the Liverpool Beer Festival is that it is held in a real crypt—the Metropolitan Cathedral Crypt, to be precise. This adds an incredible atmospheric edge to the festival making it live long in the memory… provided you don’t sample too much of the good stuff of course.

Anyone with access needs shouldn’t let the location put them off, as the crypt is fully accessible for those in wheelchairs etc.

Liverpool Beer Festival Tickets

The festival runs over 3 days but it is split into five different ticketed blocks:

  • Thu 19th Feb (6:00pm until 10:00pm)
  • Fri 20th Feb (Midday until 4:00pm)
  • Fri 20th Feb (6:00pm until 10:00pm)
  • Sat 21st Feb (Midday until 4:00pm)
  • Sat 21st Feb (6:00pm until 10:00pm)

That last session on Saturday the 21st also includes entertainment to close out the festival, although the specifics are yet to be announced. It has always gone down well in the past though. It’s usually something fitting like an acoustic guitar duo, not a Steps tribute or anything like that.

The price for each session is a little different, with the cheapest tickets available at £14 per person and the most expensive ticket costing £21. It’s not going to break the bank, and includes £10 worth of beer vouchers, a glass, and an event programme. There is also a multi day ticket for £50 which includes £20 worth of beer vouchers and a 1/4 page in the programme if you have a message or something to promote.

Bear in mind you will need to pay for your beer once your vouchers run out whicever ticket you buy.

The midday sessions are always the most popular, so if you hope to go to one of those book early. There’s less chance of it being completely sold out on the other sessions but it’s always very busy, so don’t say you weren’t warned.

Given the nature of the festival, it’s no surprise that it is for over 18s only, and anyone appearing under 25 will be asked for ID. Take it as a compliment if it happens to you!
