Hamilton – Liverpool Empire: 6th May – 7th June 2025

Don’t give up your shot to see this award winning musical on it’s first every UK tour, when it comes to the Liverpool Empire on the 6th of May 2025. It runs for the entire month, that’s 5 weeks, so you will have plenty of opportunities to book.
It’s not an exaggeration to describe Hamilton as a cultural phenomenon. The show has won:
- 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical
- 7 Olivier Awards
- The 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama
- The 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album
So it’s good, then.
The musical tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s founding fathers. He was George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of America as we know it today. While the story is based on fact, it has been ‘reframed’, re-casting all of the protagonists as minorities. They call it, “the story of America then, as told by America now”.
The score is a mix of hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, and many of the showstopping tunes will be playing in your head for days afterwards.
Tickets and Prices
You can find tickets for a range of prices depending on where you sit, and obviously, the better the seats, the more expensive the tickets. The prices do vary slightly from one performance to another, but there is no obvious reason why.
In the main, you are looking at the following price bandings:
- £25.00
- £39.00
- £45.00
- £64.00
- £89.00
- £96.50
- £99.75
There is also a £3.80 booking fee per order, so if there are a few of you book them all together to make a saving.
There are 8 shows a week with matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Shows start at 14:30 or 19:30, and the performance lasts for 2 hours and 50 minutes including an interval.
That’s longish, so make sure you go for a wee during the break!
