Family Concert: Santa’s Christmas Party: Liverpool Philharmonic Hall – 20th and 21st December
If you are looking for something Christmassy that is a little more cultured than a raucous pantomime, then Santa’s Christmas Party, a Family Concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is just the performance for you.
The concert is taking place on the 20th and 21st of December, just a few sleeps until Christmas, so it’s the perfect way come together as a family once everyone has finished work, and let the festivities really begin.
The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and their Children’s Choirs will be putting on a wonderful show, with festive singalongs, lots of dancing, and a lot of fun and games. There is a very loose story about Santa putting on a party for his elves and the audience being invited, but really, it’s about the music.
The family concerts are designed for 5 to 10 year olds, but they are suitable for the entire family and Santa’s Christmas Party will be no different. It’s one of those rare events that every generation can come together and enjoy.
Alasdair Malloy presents the show and Ellie Slorach conducts. Christmas jumpers and accessories are encouraged but by no means obligatory!
