Eurovision Watch Party – Liverpool Everyman: 17th May 2025

Some people love it, some people hate, but nobody can ignore it.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is almost upon us, and the Liverpool Everyman are hosting a Eurovision Watch Party for fans of the annual event.
It sounds like it will be some party, too!
They have karaoke, they have top hits playing from previous years, with cabaret/burlesque/songstress, Nana Funk, hosting the pre-Eurovision section of the evening. There will be food, there will be fizz, there will be flags, and there will be glitter. Lots of glitter.
The party isn’t in the main house, it’s downstairs the the bar and event space. This is perfect for a Eurovision watch along party. It has just the right informal vibe, with plenty of places to watch the competition from, comfy seating, tables, a bar, space for dancing, a small stage, etc.
It’s taking place on Saturday the 17th of May, and this will be the 69th Eurovision since it began, so it could be a naughty one! I’m sure Nana Funk will be making a few jokes about it, anyway.
Tickets and Prices
Tickets for the party cost £20.
That’s a good price for a whole night’s worth of fun, especially since it includes live entertainment before the watch along and a free welcome drink on arrival.
There is no seating allocation. Entry is ticketed but once you are in you can find your own spot, nowhere is reserved.
This is an 18+ only event, and it starts at 6.30pm. The live broadcast from Basel begins at 8pm and the party ends at midnight. It will be worth getting there for the start rather than being fashionably late, as this is when the karaoke takes place, and when Nana Funk will be doing her thing.
The venue are also running bulk offers on drinks like wine, beers, tonics and bubbles, and of course, dressing up like a loon is highly encouraged.
