Derren Brown: Only Human – Liverpool Empire, 24th to 28th of March 2026
If you’re after something a bit different to the usual theatre night, Derren Brown: Only Human lands at the Liverpool Empire from Tuesday 24 March to Saturday 28 March 2026. It’s a limited run and it’s one of those shows people will be talking about long after the curtain call.
If you have seen his TV shows, you will know that Derren Brown isn’t a magician, and he isn’t a hypnotist. He’s somewhere in between. He blends psychological illusion, crowd interaction and just enough cheeky mind games to keep you guessing all night.
The show’s details are tightly under wraps by design so you won’t find spoilers in the programme, but audiences up and down the country have been astonished, baffled and amused in equal measure.
Expect to be drawn in to the show in a way most others can’t replicate, because usually, Derren Brown’s productions involve the audience, and that might even mean ending up on stage. On top of Derren’s light hearted banter and quick wit, and you have an evening of unexpected thrills and non-stop entertainment.
Whether you’re a long-time fan of his or just curious about what all the fuss is about, this feels like a proper night out that’s worth a spot in the diary.
