Apres Ski: A Jockey Club Christmas Party at Aintree – December 6th – 20th

The famous racecourse has excellent form in this area, having run Christmas parties for many years now, and people keep coming back for more. They have even had to add extra dates to keep up with demand.
Each year has a different theme and for 2024 it is Apres Ski, a winter wonderland adventure. So expect Alpine elegance and frosty festivities at one of the most picturesque venues in the region.
Just as people tend to make an effort for a day at the races, so they do for this event. You will need to don your finest glad rags as this is a very civilised affair.
The ticket price gets you entry to the event, reception drinks on arrival, a sumptuous 3 course meal, and top quality live entertainment all night.

While it’s true that the event runs from the 6th to the 20th of December, it is only on certain dates:

- 14th
- 20th
These dates will sell out. They always do. So if you are interested you should get yourself organised fast and book in with your group before all the places are gone.
The timings are as follows:
- Drinks reception: 19:00
- Dinner: 20:00
- Bar to close: 00:45
- Carriages: 01:00
‘Carriages’ just means taxis – they’re being posh!
Tickets cost £65 per person, and when you think about what you are getting for that it sounds like a bargain. You could easily spend £65 on a 3 course meal and a few drinks at a regular restaurant, but at Aintree’s Christmas party you also get a live DJ, other entertainment (they had casino games and close up magicians in years gone by), and a whole night of partying.
